Demoulding Rings

Demoulding rings are small, round rings made of rigid plastic. They are used to create a base at the end of the extraction hole of a Plastiform impression.

Using the demoulding rings allows you to remove an impression more easily by providing a good grip to pull the impression. The bag contains 21 rings of 7 different diameters, accommodating most standard extractions.

The rings are reusable and cannot be damaged by contact with Plastiforms, ensuring a very long lifespan.

Demoulding rings are included in each Plastiform case. This accessory is essential when using any Plastiform product in cartridges (both 50ml and 400ml) , ensuring simple extraction of impressions, whether they are simple or complex.

Placing the impression on the base created by the ring also allows for proper positioning for optical or three-dimensional inspection machines.

The Demolding Rings are most often used when you need to extract total impressions.

  1. Take your impression until the entire shape is filled.
  2. When the product is about to overflow, place the demolding ring that best fits the hole diameter.
  3. Keep pouring the product until it fills the whole ring.
  4. Once the Plastiform has polymerized, remove the ring by pulling it straight.
  5. Extract the replica using the created handle.

You can reuse the ring for another impression.
