Tip for Standard Nozzle
Tip for Standard Nozzle
The tips are small plastic elements that connect to your mixing nozzles. They are used to control the flow rate at the nozzle outlet.
Tips ensure the fluid products can flow smoothly without creating air bubbles.
If you want an intermediate flow, you can cut the tip cleanly, but this technique is not recommended.
Their angled shape allows them to reach difficult areas during the impression taking process. You can also use the tip to gently move the product inside the part while it is still liquid, ensuring it fills all the space for optimal precision.
However, be cautious of air bubbles, as mixing too vigorously can create bubbles and alter the final result.
Unlike nozzles, which can be used only once, tips can be reused.
To reuse a tip, gently remove it from its injector. The polymerized product inside should release the tip without damaging it.
Tips are essential accessories for successful impression taking. They are included in all Plastiform cases and available cartridge packages. You can also purchase them individually.
Tips are only recommended for use with fluid products and can only be mounted on Standard Nozzles.
To use a tip, simply clip it onto the end of the standard nozzle by pushing it until it locks in place. Both accessories are specially designed to fit together. Ensure the tip is mounted on the nozzle before attaching the injector to the cartridge.
Once set, you can use the applicator gun as usual.
If you need to increase the flow, you can cut the tip cleanly, although this technique is not recommended.
After the product has polymerized inside the tip, simply pull it straight to extract the hardened product. Tips are reusable once the polymerized product is removed.
